Gokstad

History:

Build for the museum at L'Anse aux Meadows Newfoundland Canada.  She is said to be an exact replica of the Faering found in the Gokstad burial in Norway from around 890 AD.

She is currently in the stewardship of the museum and is in need of a full restoration.  We at The Wooden Boat Rescue Foundation would love to be the ones to do this work if anyone is willing to spearhead the project and get her to us.....?
