The Turks & Caicos Maritime Heritage Federation--click here.  The mandate for the Turks and Caicos Maritime Heritage Federation is the research, preservation, promotion and education of Turks and Caicos maritime heritage. The aim of these projects is the continuity of handing down tradition from one generation to the next.

Publications:

Classic Boat Magazine.  This is a great Magazine for the classic boat nut.

Good Old Boat Magazine.  Realistic, pragmatic stuff for all of us! Really real look at boats.

Maritime Life and Traditions.  Another great one.  Real boats from real times when people were really working.

Watercraft.  We need more boating like this.  Hits affordable small boats.  A good day when I see this in the mailbox!

Wooden Boat Magazine.  If you don't already get it, you are not ready to have an old boat.

Old Gaffers Association.  Gaffers dream land!

Course/classes:

Mystic Seaport.  Great classes---especially their wooden boat repair class.  They are thinking of stopping this class due to difficulties filling it---lets get 6-10 people together and get them serious again!  Contact me bioelf@mindspring.com
