Restoration Logs

The following are the logs of restorations of boats rescued by the WBRF. As a requirement to adopting a boat, new owners are asked to keep a log of the progress. Please feel free to look through the postings for ideas or research. Some owners have allowed their e-mail addresses or telephone numbers to be posted. Feel free to contact them, and please be polite and restrained tin your correspondence.

Also Wooden Boat Magazine's May 05 - March 06 has a great article about restorations. The article logically breaks the ideas and actions of a restoration into manageable and easy to comprehend steps and considerations. This is a well written and enjoyable article that should be a MUST read for anyone interested in taking one of our boats. The article is written from a yards point of view, but much of what is written is applicable to a home boat restoration---just be realistic about the extent you want or need to go into your restoration if money and time are limited. With this in mind you will have a better idea if you are ready for the complexities of a certain project.
